The Interdisciplinary Computation and Communication Group (INCO2-DSIC) is made up of researchers belonging to the Department of Information Systems and Computation (DSIC) of the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia and of researchers belonging to other universities who develop their activity in this Group. Although the background of its members is different and complementary (degrees in Informatics, Physics and Mathematics) the researchers of the Group have a lot of experience in Computational Science. The main aim of the Group is the solution of complex numerical problems, in particular those that can be solved by parallel computers and high performance computing techniques, as well as the modeling and optimization of parallel computing systems.  More

The Audio and Communications Signal Processing Group (GTAC) belongs to the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (iTEAM) of the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV). The iTEAM is a research centre integrated in the Polythecnic City of Innovation, one of the two big scientific parks located at Valencia city. GTAC research is mainly developed in the fields of sound and communications signal processing. Since 1998, GTAC members have managed / participated in different research projects regarding Active Noise Control systems, Sound perception, Spatial Audio rendering and Multi-channel audio filtering in the area of sound processing, and regarding efficient MIMO receivers, multi-user communications and coordinated systems in the area of communications. The research group consists of Teaching and Research of the Department of Signal Theory and Communications, University of Alcalá. It is a group recognized by the University of Alcalá and Madrid, with reference CCTT2006/R39. His research interests are focused on applied digital signal processing (voice, biological signals, electromagnetic source signals, etc..), With special emphasis on statistical signal processing (detection, estimation, classification, source separation) and this sense has developed and collaborates in numerous research projects, international, national or regional.
